Preparation For Examinations (HSK)
China's Hanyu Shuiping Kaoshi, known as
HSK examinations are held
regularly in China each year. Certificates for the HSK will be
issued to those who have achieved the required marks. These courses
are designed to teach students methods that will assist them in
attaining a high score on
the Examinations. While the courses content includes grammar,
vocabulary, reading comprehension and writing, the primary focus is
on test taking skills and
strategies.

Professional Chinese Courses
If
you want to study for professional purposes, such as
finance, manufacturing
industries, literature, etc,
we will customize the
vocabulary content of the text materials on an on-going basis , seek
advice and comments from you to cater your specific requirements. These
customized courses are normally arranged with a
private tutor. |
◆ Chinese Culture Courses
The Culture courses are group or individual class focusing on specific
aspects of traditional
Chinese culture, such as, Chinese wash painting, calligraphy, and Tai
Chi.
Chinese Tea Ceremony Course: The course introduces briefly the knowledge
of Chinese tea categories, tea set and the preservation of tea leaves.
Students will learn the process of making-tea, including various methods
to make green tea, oolong, red tea and Pu er tea, as well as the Chinese
tea culture.
Chinese Cuisine Course: The process of making one Chinese snack and one
Chinese dish will be present in each lesson, such as, spring roll,
wonton, rice dumpling and steamed dumpling; Mapo Tofu(Spicy beancurd
with shredded pork meat), Tangcu Paigu (Sweet and sour pork rib ),
Yuxiang Rousi (Pork strips in spicy sweet and sour sauce), Qiezhi Guiyu
(Mandarin fish in tomato sauce) and Hongshao Shizitou (Braised pork
dumpling), etc.
Handicraft Course: The process of making various Chinese
traditional handicrafts will
be present in each lesson, such as, kites, candy dolls, Chinese knots,
embroidery, strings of beads, paper-cuttings, mud sculptures, etc.
Shanghai dialect Course: To learn basic daily conversation, such as,
greeting, introducing somebody, asking way, shopping, ordering food, and
taking taxi, etc. |
