Our Teachers

We believe that emphasis must be placed on quality education and service. To ensure this, iMandarin has its own system to select, train and supervise teachers to guarantee quality instruction. We are proud to offer certified teaching staff to all of our students. All of our teachers have either a Master's degree in teaching or over 2-3 years of teaching experience (about 1000 hour). We also guarantee our clients that our teachers are not only qualified, but also have excellent personal integrity and display a high degree of professionalism. As a result, our school has always received praise from our customers for our teaching standards. iMandarin exists for the purpose of helping our clients learn Mandarin, to appreciate Chinese culture, and to experience modern living in Shanghai.

The iMandarin Training Department maintains its high teaching standards by systematically training teachers and constantly monitoring their performance in order to guarantee efficiency and professionalism.

Teachers at iMandarin are closely monitored to ensure teaching quality. Before teachers begin teaching at iMandarin, they first must complete a training course that outlines iMandarin's teaching guidelines and expectations for the teachers. After completion of the training course, 2-3 in-class inspections will take place. In addition, at the end of each course students are asked to evaluate their teacher's performance, as well as their own personal progress in the course. If students feel they are having difficulties with a teacher during their course, we encourage them to approach one of the service staff to voice their concerns.
