Summer Camp in China, Day Camp, Full-day Camp

iMandarin now provides summer courses! Students will learn Mandarin in an immersed environment as well as experience Chinese culture and wonderful Chinese food.

Summer camp programs:
In the past five years over 200 teenagers from all over the world have taken part in iMandarin summer camp. While studying with iMandarin, students not only improved their Chinese, but also made new friends and gained insight into Chinese culture. There are 3 program types to accomodate different needs:
* Day Camp (7-12 years old)
Students study, play and take part in activities at school in the daytime, but spend time with family in the evening and over weekends.
* Full-day Camp (13-16 years old)
Students are immersed in Chinese language environment during the whole day, studying and living with teachers and their classmates to experience Chinese culture.
* Family Package
Specially designed for family trips, Includes parents and children.

Summer Camp Arrangement:

Mandarin Courses:
Classes run from Monday to Friday, while programs vary in length from 2 weeks to 2 months. Our professional tutors teach pronunciation, vocabulary, and grammar with an active teaching style. At iMandarin, we prefer a relaxed atmosphere where students can feel comfortable with their instructors and the pace of the lessons.

Cultural Activities and Excursions:
We provide diverse cultural activities and cultural appreciation for students in the afternoon from Monday to Friday, in order to introduce more about China. Activities include handicrafts, calligraphy, Kungfu, acrobatism appreciation, museum and historic site visit, etc… On the weekends we will take longer sightseeing excursions to scenic areas around Shanghai.

Accommodation:
Students' apartments are located about 20 minutes away from school (walking distance), but public transportation is also available and highly convenient. Apartments are outfitted with a refrigerator, micro-wave oven, cooking tools, washing machine, television and air conditioning. We provide both single rooms and shared rooms with 3 meals and 2 snacks per day. Should you require assistance, one of our supervisors will gladly help you with any questions you might have.
